Feeling Feline? Leopard Print is here to stay.

If you have been a reader of mine since last year, you know that leopard print has been trending since fall of 2023. It is certainly not the first time that the print has shown up in fashion history, and judging by its continued success, it is certainly not the last.

The former director of J.Crew, Jenna Lyons, is quoted saying, “As far as I’m concerned, Leopard is a neutral.” As fashion enthusiasts, we can see this with how well the print pairs with different colors and fabrics, perhaps due to the prints neutral coloring itself (brown and black).

Shania Twain is quoted in an article with Elle Magazine stating that leopard print “can be worn with anything.” She furthers this by stating how you can dress leopard print with chiffon, velvet, sheer, or silk. As Shania says, not only is the print a neutral- it is hyper flexible.

But let’s not rely on Jenna or Shania just yet….

As leopard print is sure to remain popular throughout the season and into fall/winter 2024 (as there has been no decline to its desire), there are different ways to style leopard print. If you struggle with finding your own personal style, look to Pinterest or social media and try to find outfits that resonate with you. Then you can mimic that fashion or try to copy the outfit you find. Remember, fashion is about having fun.

With leopard print, you can style with tops….

Leopard print in bottoms…

In one pieces such as dresses, rompers, and jumpsuits…

And even accessories….

Now that you have seen all sorts of leopard print in fashion, how are you most excited to wear it?
